We are two seasoned graphic design professionals who have enjoyed working together on and off for the past twenty years. The belief that our collaboration produces better work was the inspiration for studio SALT, started in 2003 and located in the coastal states of Maine and California.

Why Salt? It's what we all have in common, and we can't live without it. Salt, a simple compound of two elements, is both essential and versatile. We hope that our studio shares the same characteristics. Graphic design itself is an amalgam of two ideas: visual + communication. Our design philosophy is simple. We enhance visual communication without overpowering it; we combine our knowledge; reduce the message down to its essential elements and then add a dash of flavor.
